LAS VEGAS, Oct. 23, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — TCL Electronics, a leading consumer electronics brand and the world’s second-largest TV brand, today unveiled its leading portfolio of innovative technologies across multiple categories, including the world’s largest, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2024). QD Mini LED TV and one of the industry’s first smart entertainment solutions for connected mobile devices.
Innovations for a great home cinema experience
Among the products on display at the show was the world’s largest QD Mini LED TV, TCL’s QM891G, with a 115-inch screen size, over 20,000 local dimming zones and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, shown here for the first time in North America .
In parallel with this milestone, TCL introduced the latest QM7 and QM8 QD Mini LED models for the US market, all featuring advanced backlight and signal processing technologies as well as high-zone local dimming. TCL’s groundbreaking X955 and C755 series TVs were the first in the world to be certified by TÜV Rheinland for their Realistic Visual Experience. TCL also demonstrated Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, which gives users the freedom to place their speakers anywhere – the system then provides an intelligently optimized Dolby Atmos experience.
The company also introduced TCL’s self-developed AiPQ ULTRA processor, which ensures premium display quality and vivid images on TVs thanks to its strong AI capabilities for image analysis and several self-developed algorithms.
The new online streaming service TCL tv+ offers over 300 FAST channels and thousands of blockbusters from the world’s leading content providers. “IDEO” technology allows users in North America to access interactive features while enjoying free entertainment. The National Football League (NFL) live channel, scheduled to launch in 2024, will allow fans in the region to watch NFL events via Watch TCL tv+.
The S55H/S45H models are the latest members of the TCL soundbar product family. With innovative Tutti Choral technology and Dolby Atmos, they ensure an even better home cinema experience. TCL’s 27R83U/34R83Q Professional Monitor series will also be shown. The models in the series feature QD-Mini LED technology with 1,152 local dimming zones, a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, an ultra-fast 1 ms response time and a high refresh rate. The series has VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, Pantone Matching System (PMS) validation and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye-friendly, low-blue light displays.
Industry-leading entertainment solution for smart, connected mobile devices
At the show, TCL also introduced one of the industry’s first intelligent entertainment solutions for connected mobile devices, combining smartphones, tablets, smart glasses and other devices. Among other things, the company introduced an expanded tablet portfolio, a new series of 50 series smartphones and its NXTPAPER 3.0 technology, the most advanced generation of award-winning display technology for greater eye-friendliness and an overall improved digital viewing experience.

Technologies for a smarter, more connected life at home
With the FreshIN 2.0 air conditioner, TCL has raised the bar for a better quality of life. The “Breathable Two-way Fresh Air” technology brings in oxygen-rich air from outside while blowing out poor indoor air. The company also introduced its first window air conditioner with Matter Protocol, allowing it to offer a seamlessly integrated smart home ecosystem .
Additionally, TCL’s latest Free Built-in series refrigerators feature a sleek and seamless design that makes the most of available space. Their state-of-the-art molecular preservation technology keeps refrigerator contents fresher for longer and helps prevent food nutrient loss. Last but not least, the TCL Eco Care Washer & Dryer Combo makes laundry washing more convenient and environmentally friendly with its two-in-one design.
With a focus on sustainable living, TCL has also recently expanded its portfolio of smart energy solutions. The “One-Stop Residential Smart Energy System,” also presented at CES 2024, combines photovoltaic modules, an energy storage device, a heat pump and a charging station for electric cars.
