TCL Unveils New OLED and Tandem WOLED Gaming Monitors at IFA 2026

At the IFA 2026 trade show in Berlin, TCL debuted a new lineup of high-performance gaming monitors, bridging standard OLED technology with advanced tandem WOLED panels. Showcasing models like the 32-inch 32X3A and the 27-inch 27X3B, the hardware targets high refresh rates, deep black levels, and integrated audio architecture without relying on aggressive gaming aesthetics.

Engineering the Chassis: Fixed Audio and Minimalist Design

Both the 3A and 3B series share an identical, understated exterior chassis. Rather than mounting the integrated speaker system inside the monitor stand—a common design constraint that forces audio to drop away whenever users switch to an aftermarket monitor arm—TCL integrated the speaker directly into the chassis housing itself. The soundbar assembly travels vertically alongside the display panel, maintaining consistent audio delivery regardless of ergonomic adjustments.

This attention to mechanical layout extends to desk integration. By decoupling the sound system from the base, engineers have ensured that VESA mounting does not compromise built-in acoustic performance.

The 3A Series: Dual-Mode Versatility at 12,000 SEK

Hitting the Swedish market first in a 32-inch form factor, the 32X3A carries a retail price of 12,000 SEK. This specific panel introduces dual-mode resolution switching, allowing users to toggle between a sharp 4K configuration and a high-speed Full HD layout. Depending on the chosen resolution, the refresh rate scales dynamically—hitting 240Hz at maximum resolution or doubling to 480Hz when dropping down to FHD for competitive esports titles.

While the 32-inch variant anchors the initial retail rollout, TCL has confirmed plans to introduce a 27-inch iteration of the 3A series. Exact regional release dates for the smaller 3A model remain pending.

Stepping Up to Tandem WOLED in the 3B Series

Running alongside the 3A hardware is its more advanced counterpart: the 27X3B. While maintaining the same structural design language, the 3B series swaps the standard panel architecture for a tandem WOLED layout. By stacking multiple organic light-emitting diode layers on top of one another—including a dual-blue emission structure—tandem technology addresses traditional brightness and lifespan limitations inherent in single-layer organic panels.

The 27-inch 27X3B showcased at IFA 2026 operates at a native resolution of 2560×1440 and pushes peak brightness capabilities up to 1,500 nits. Buyers should, however, anticipate a considerably higher price point for the tandem WOLED model compared to the standard 3A series.
