Events/International.- A teacher from a Miami school was arrested for recording himself in a pornographic video. The material went viral on the networks and the teacher faces charges for it.
According to authorities, 45-year-old Wesly Alvarez was arrested in Miami-Dade on Monday followingnoon at school. The teacher taught at Ronald W. Reagan Doral Senior High School.
Alvarez faces a charge of pronography following the video was made public of him showing himself in front of a mirror belonging to the institution’s campus.
According to the police report, some students witnessed seeing the video on Alvarez’s Snapchat network. In the video the teacher appears with the same clothes that he wore to work that day.
However, an alleged confession regarding the incident was removed from the report. The school district spoke out through a report where they announced measures once morest the teacher.
Warning to other institutions
A district spokesperson assured that the authorities of the institution and other universities in the county are aware of the teacher’s video.
The spokesperson stated that as soon as the District learned of these “disturbing allegations,” an investigation was launched and the individual was subsequently arrested.
“Conduct such as that of which you are accused will not be tolerated. As such, his employment with the District is being terminated and we will ensure that he cannot seek future employment with M-DCPS (Miami-Dade County Public Schools).”
The professor, who lives in the Tamiami area, was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. His bond was listed as “to be set” in online jail records.
