So LeBron, Joel Embiid, Lauri Markkanen, Kyrie Irving or even Jaylen Brown are having a blast, Paul George and Damian Lillard are playing whoever will send the most bricks, the first quarter ends in a tie and, spoiler, the Team Giannis will win the other three.
Because the score, very clearly, nobody cares. Kyrie Irving and Donovan Mitchell return to beef, LeBron decides not to play in the second half, a second half which will be the scene of an incredible explosion from Jayson Tatum, author this evening of 55 points and therefore new owner of the all-time offensive record in an All-Star Game, stolen from Anthony Davis and his 52 points. JT who will logically be elected MVP of the match, after a meeting where a few smiles will nevertheless have saved the evening even if, clearly, the said evening will not return to the Pantheon of our memory.
All that for that, as the other would say, but what the other doesn’t know is that we… we knew it. We know what an All-Star Game looks like, we know what to expect when we watch an All-Star Game. So we’re not complaining. We say it wasn’t crazy, far from it, but we knew it so we don’t make a big deal out of it. The following ? Four days and three nights of rest, and after such a dung, we probably deserved it.
