Here we use the iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB version as the test platform, and choose to use the “Jazz Disk Bench” paid version App to do the PD20M data reading and writing test ~
We have tested it many times and generally have high-speed performance of 855 MB/s reading and 773 MB/s writing as shown above (the iPhone 15 Pro series only supports USB 3.2 Gen2, so the physical upper limit of data reading and writing speed is only to 1000MB/s in both directions)!
Instead, I chose to use the Apple Mac mini M1 version of the desktop computer for testing, and obtained near-limit performance of 939.9 MB/s reading and 917 MB/s writing (this computer also only has USB 3.2 specifications, and the physical maximum speed is only 1000MB/s two-way). )
Finally, I switched to a computer that supports the USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 specification for testing to see how fast the data reading and writing speed can be achieved!
