Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has praised Rohit Sharma’s style of captaincy, saying that he has provided security and freedom to the players. Rohit wants to move away from what the team has been doing for the last five-six years and do what the players feel is right
“Rohit Sharma gives you a lot of freedom, that was his strength,” Pandya said.
“He and Rahul Dravid deserve a lot of credit for bringing the team together, they keep the morale up and make sure the players are safe. They are given enough opportunities. If they don’t play they are told too, which is admirable. Hardik said.
“He gave us freedom and forgot about the results. We are trying something new. We’re going to make mistakes and we’re going to learn from it, but what we’ve been doing for five-six years, we’re going to stay away from it, make sure we try all the available options and when the World Cup comes, we know how to play. ” added Hardick
Hardik Pandya was under Rohit Sharma in Mumbai Indians from 2015 to 2021. Hardy was the main star when he won four titles in seven years.
