Vijay’s film Waaris is all set to release on January 11 for Sankranti. Warisu and its Telugu version Varasudu were scheduled to release on the same day. But due to some technical issues, the release of the Telugu version has been postponed to January 14.
But now the makers of the film are facing another problem. The film’s advance bookings are not picking up as expected.
Vijay is an actor who has many fans not only in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka but also abroad. And all his recent movies have been well received. But reports suggest that Varys is getting a lukewarm response from the audience.
Waris advance bookings are progressing very slowly. This is turning out to be one of the worst bookings for Vijay in recent times. There was good buzz before the trailer but following the trailer the hype of the movie got affected. However, the hope is now for a Sankranti release. As it is the festive season, bookings are expected to increase.
