TEC Liège-Verviers Strike: Updates, Impacted Lines, and Resolutions

2024-01-29 18:12:24

The strike that began Monday morning at TEC Liège-Verviers following a new attack is expected to continue this Tuesday. The company’s 11 repositories are expected to remain blocked.

Meetings took place between the unions and the police of Liège and Seraing. Commitments were made for real monitoring by the police during this type of incident as well as an increased presence of the police inside the buses themselves. Similar meetings are planned for this Tuesday with the police zones of Herstal and Beyne-Fléron-Soumagne. It is at the end of these that a new staff meeting will be organized to decide whether to stop or continue the movement.

Generally, when a strike ends, it is not until the next day that all lines run normally once more.

Find all the impacted lines on the TEC website.
