Asuncion, IP Agency.- Technical representatives of the National Directorate of Tax Revenue (DNIT) and the firm Paracel held a working meeting to provide relevant clarifications regarding topics of interest in the area of internal and customs taxes.
This meeting was held within the framework of the activities entrusted to the technical committee established by the institution and the company, within the institutional policy of rapprochement with the taxpayer carried out by the DNIT.
Participating on behalf of the DNIT were officials from the General Directorate of Institutional and International Relations of the Executive Management, the General Directorate of Customs Processes and Trade Facilitation of the General Customs Management and the General Directorate of Legal Advice.
The Paracel industry, which currently has more than 193,000 hectares of its own land, plans to build a plant designed for a capacity of 1.8 million tons of bleached eucalyptus kraft pulp (BHKP) per year.
The project will create some 4,000 direct jobs, and the company is expected to create 36,000 indirect jobs in the region, creating a total of 40,000 jobs.
