Under the guidance of the ancestral doctor Leovigildo Castillo, members of this community combined their ancestral knowledge with the Mother Earth and performed a ritual as a sample of their tradition, a healing space that consisted of cleaning thought and being.

”To be an ancestor is to return to the origin of the matrix of Mother Earth, which means everything for us, being, living. The opening of this table means claiming in the city those great wounds that turned my town into something without memory, and that is returning to Cartagena to live again, to return to have the roots of transforming and living“Castillo said.

During the ceremony, the minutes formalizing the technical panel were signed by the director of PES- Pedro Romero, Cielo Blanco Flórez; the director of the IPCC, Oscar Uriza, and Daniel Castillo, captain of CAIZEM.
