A fight involving ten teenagers from two high schools in a Longueuil business led to the confinement of Centennial high school on Friday followingnoon.
Longueuil police explained that they were first called to intervene around 12:45 p.m. in a business located at the corner of Chemin Tiffin and Boulevard Desaulniers for a conflict between students which degenerated.
“Assaults were allegedly committed, but no one was seriously injured,” police said.
However, information that a firearm was seen during the events led the police to place Centennial School on lockdown during the followingnoon. The measure was lifted shortly following and students and staff were able to return home.
Witnesses to the events were to be met by investigators. No arrests were immediately announced.
