Disappeared in 2017 when he was just 11 years old, young teenager Alex Batty was found this week after escaping from his mother after living all these years in a spiritual community.
Finding himself on a small road in Aude, he crossed paths with Fabien Accidini, an occasional delivery driver who helped him. This Sunday, the young man returned to this incredible encounter: “I told myself that he was perhaps returning from an evening between two villages. But clearly, it wasn’t normal to find him there in the middle of the night and in the rain. So obviously, I told myself that he needed help.”
