Despite the marketing hype, eXtended Detection and Response is not just another cyber fad. Proof of this is the multitude of announcements of integrations, takeovers and partnerships in this relatively new and particularly buoyant sector. And fundraising: the Frenchman Tehtris has just announced that he has raised 44 million euros.
This is the second fundraiser for this company founded in 2010 by Éléna Poincet and Laurent Oudot, two former intelligence officers. The first took place in November 2020 and allowed Tehtris to raise 20 million euros. It therefore achieved a x2 two years later, on the occasion of a funding round led by Jolt Capital, followed by the historical investors Tikehau Ace Capital, Open CNP and Nouvelle-Aquitaine Co-Investissement.
Recruitment campaign
After its first fundraising, Tehtris had created 220 positions and opened subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, Japan and Canada. With its 44 million euros (including 36 in growth equity) of fresh money, the company plans to continue its recruitments, with 300 additional jobs and to multiply its commercial forces.
