Tekashi 6ix9ine regains his freedom.

After spending nine days in a cell in the province of La Vega, in the Dominican Republic, on the afternoon of this Tuesday, October 24, Judge Adaias Sanchez granted conditional release to the singer of Mexican origin, whose real name is Daniel Hernández.

According to various sources familiar with the matter, Tekashi was released after paying bail of $10,000 in cash. The rapper will not be able to leave the Dominican Republic as he will have to appear before the law to sign periodically for the next six months. Tekashi also cannot have contact or approach with the alleged victims.

Hours after being released, 6ix9ine took to his official Instagram account to share a video and thank his fans in the Dominican Republic for their support.

“I want to thank God. Dominican Republic, thank you. I love you all. Thanks for the support, thanks for the love. The people of La Vega, you, morning, early morning, are there,” said the singer, adding that the promise of holding a free show still stands. However, it is a task that will be left to his team to avoid logistical problems since the number of fans waiting to see him is quite large.

For his part, Tekashi’s lawyer, who also appears in the artist’s video, urged the rapper’s fans to vacate the perimeter of the La Vega Palace of Justice since “the process to execute freedom has begun,” so that there is no point in them continuing there.

“Thank you, Dominican Republic. The Vega. I love them. Thanks for the support. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”, concluded the singer.
