Telegram introduces a file download manager

MADRID, 11 Mar. (Portaltic/EP) –

The messaging app Telegram has introduced a download manager along with a new menu to preview the files that are going to be shared in a chat when it comes to multimedia.

Telegram offers unlimited cloud storage for files sent through the app, of any type up to 2GB. Your download now has a new icon in search bar which allows you to see its status.

Clicking on this icon also accesses a tab from which find and manage downloaded files, and if they are in the process of downloading. Here you can pause the ones that are in progress, resume the paused ones or select the priority ones.

This feature has been accompanied by a novelty in sending multiple files when it comes to photos and videos, by which you can preview the message and even reorder the media files to know how the album will be, as they explain it’s a statement.

The company has also improved the login on Android and MacOSwith new animations and greater fluidity, and allows live streaming with apps like OBS Studio and XSplit Broadcaster.
