The French group Teleperformance plans to buy Majorel from Moulay Hafid Elalamy for 3 billion euros, this operation will allow it to expand its global presence and accelerate its digital transformation, reported the YouTube channel Projects of Morocco.
“The majority shareholders of Majorel, namely Bertelsmann and Saham, which represent approximately 79% of the company’s shares, have each irrevocably committed to tender their Majorel shares to the offer”, according to a press release.
Teleperformance proposed either an amount of 3 billion euros to buy Majorel (30 euros per share) or an offer by securities. It is the second option which was chosen by Bertelsmann and Saham, which will allow them to obtain up to 4.6 million new shares in the new entity, ie 7.2% of the capital.
“The Teleperformance-Majorel combination will create a group of around $12 billion in digital solutions business services (pro-forma 2023), with a strong presence in all major economies around the world,” said Teleperformance.
