Ten years that the bourgeois of the Jura and the Bernese Jura have been collaborating. The Interjurassien Forum of Bourgeoisies invited its members to its general assembly on Saturday in Prêles. The first step was taken in 2008, when the Inter-Jura Assembly felt that these organizations were no longer relevant. The various bourgeoisies then jumped to prove the contrary. Former AIJ President Dick Marti deleted this article from the final report afterwards. He thus noted the relevance of the Forum interjurassien des bourgeoisies which promotes dialogue on both sides of the border. For these reasons, Dick Marti was named Member of Honor on Saturday.
10 years and a positive balance sheet
Despite different cantonal affiliations, the concerns of the Bernese Jura Bourgeois Association are not the same as those of Emmental, believes Gaspard Studer, the new president of the Forum. After a decade, the results are very positive, according to the president for the next two years. “We were able to discuss many subjects and resolve certain approaches to problems that are common to us between the Jura and the Bernese Jura”, recalls Gaspard Studer who cites in particular the themes related to the forest. /ncp
