The Frente de Todos managed to open the impeachment trial against the Supreme Court of Justice and drew the road map of the process that seeks to remove its four judges. It was at a meeting where the first sparks with Together for Changewhich set the tone for the debate that will dominate the coming months.
The crossings occurred in the Political Judgment Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, chaired by Carolina Gaillard from Entre Ríos. The ruling party hoped to open the debate smoothly, but could not avoid clashes with opposition deputies and the meeting lasted longer than expected.
The quorum was achieved with the 16 representatives of the Frente de Todos, although almost simultaneously the 14 deputies of Together for Change sat down in room 1 of the Annex. Then Alejandro “Topo” Rodríguez, from the Federal Interblock, joined.

«Top» Rodríguez to Tailhade: «I’m not afraid of you either”
From the Federal Interblock, “Topo” Rodríguez asserted that President Alberto Fernández “started his campaign” with the request for impeachment and clarified: “Those who think differently are not employees of the dark powers.”
And then he lashed out at Rodolfo Tailhade: “With all due respect, and I say it with affection, I don’t think I’d start by pointing out that those of us who think differently can be employees of dark powers…. I tell you Tailhade, that you said that I think that the political trial is not going to advance because I am afraid of a media outlet and that I do politics with fear. I am not afraid of any media and I’m not afraid of you either, Tailhade”.
Vanesa Siley to Mario Negri: “Machirulo”
The cross between the deputy Vanesa Siley (Front of All) and Mario Negri (UCR)ended with a kind of rudeness from the official legislator when they asked her to give the floor to her peer. “I do not grant the interruption for machirulo”he pointed.

Opening the meeting, Gaillard read one by one the 14 files presented against judges of the Court and the complaints that support them.
“I will guarantee that this commission conforms to the National Constitution, the regulations of the House and the commission. The political trial is not a criminal trial, as Deputies we do not have jurisdictional powers that Justice does have, ”explained the Entre Ríos deputy.
López, from the Civic Coalition, proposed not waiting to open the summary to listen to guests and advance these presentations for the moment of ruling on the admissibility of the process.

The main project of the Frente de Todos, promoted by the national government and a group of governors and headed by Eduardo Valdés, accuses Horacio Rosatti, Carlos Rosenkrantz, Juan Carlos Maqueda and Ricardo Lorenzetti for poor performance in the exercise of their duties.
The axis of the accusation are the rulings on the Buenos Aires co-participation, the Council of the Magistracy and the calculation of the “two for one” of the sentences for crimes against humanity, in addition to alleged irregularities in the management of the social work of the Judiciary .
