Philippines: The crocodile that killed and ate two people eventually died of a mental breakdown due to tension. The death of Lolong, the largest of the saltwater crocodiles, has now been found to be due to stress. Lolong is a 2012 Guinness World Record holder for crocodiles.
No one expected such a death for Lolong. He was a healthy crocodile in every way. The 21-foot-long Lolong died in 2013. But now the cause of his death is being discussed. Lolong has been arrested and detained by authorities since he killed and ate a fisherman in Bunawan, Philippines.
Meanwhile, two years ago, Lolong also fed a 12-year-old girl. With this, Lolong’s weight had increased to about a ton. After his imprisonment, this crocodile became the darling of the audience. His body is still kept in a museum in the Philippines out of respect for Lolong.
