The North Bohemians returned a 1:2 defeat to their opponents from the opening match of the season and did not lose at home in the league for the fourth time in a row. The Hanás failed to win five times in a row in the top competition, they scored fully in only one of the last 10 duels.

Both teams had to do without injured goalkeepers. Domestic Grigar was replaced by winter reinforcement from Slovakia Ludha, who started in the Czech league for the first time since the beginning. Otherwise, coach Frťala bet on the same ten players in the field as in the previous two spring games. On the other side, instead of Macík, Stoppen appeared between the three posts.

In the last round in Pardubice (1:1), Teplice conceded the fastest goal of the league season after 23 seconds, this time they could have taken the lead early on. In the third minute, Kričfaluši noticed the worse position of Stoppen and hit the crossbar with a lob from 25 meters.

The home team combined well in the beginning, created dangerous situations and finally got a goal. Gninga’s deflected shot reached the lone Bílek and he, with a significant contribution from the defending Novák, beat Stoppen. The 26-year-old full-back or midfielder scored for the first time in his 15th league start.

The owner of 28 national team starts, Novák could immediately make up for the unfortunate moment, but his fierce cross shot was brilliantly kicked by Ludha. After conceding a goal, the Hanás came to life after all and gradually took over the activity. In the 32nd minute, Bílek underestimated Singhateh’s defense and he shot high in the open chance.

Olomouc coach Jílek changed the formation to a three-back system during the break, and his charges entered the second half better, yet they were the first to threaten the “Sklář” again. In the 53rd minute, Trubač found Beránek with a sharp cross in the small area, who was unable to direct the ball into the open goal as he fell. On the other side, Ludha made another excellent save after Ventúr’s prompt shot.

Sigma struggled offensively and did not finish waiting for the premier spring hit even today. In the 70th minute, in front of the penalty area, Jukl robbed the hesitant Beneš of the ball, who knocked him to the ground as he fell. The Olomouc stopper was the last player, so referee Radina showed him a red card. Bílek hit the post from the subsequent free kick.

The home side dominated from the disqualification and added an insurance in the end. Jásir ended the fast break with a technical attack on the back post and scored his third hit of the league season. Substitute midfielder Hronek thus triumphantly celebrated his 200th start in the top competition.
