For a little over an hour, the French publisher Nacon has given us a wide range of announcements concerning future arrivals in its production catalog. To make us salivate, the program had been communicated in advance, but nothing beats a last surprise announcement to end a presentation in style. This is precisely what the French company has done by unveiling a project which, after RoboCop, will adapt another super popular machine within pop culture!

The schedule promised to be busy this evening for this new edition of Nacon Connect, but there were still a few surprises in the pocket on the publisher’s side. Certainly, we had the right to du Steelrising, du Gollum as well as new insights de Test Drive Unlimited : Solar Crown or de RoboCop : Rogue City ! Between the robotic policeman and the automatons of Steelrisingit seems that machines have been quite popular lately. And it’s not the last announcement reserved by the French publisher that will make us think otherwise since Terminator, another iconic figure of pop-culture, was invited during the last seconds of the event.
For this meeting, Nacon had mentioned five surprise revelations and Terminal Survival Project was clearly part of it ! For the moment, things are still unclear around this game adapted from the work of the 80s by James Cameron (Avatar, Avatar 2: The Waterway…) because everything we were entitled to this evening, it’s a very short video clip that shows us a prototype Terminator T-800 hungry for human prey. However, some details are already worth highlighting.

Like the series of films which pays attention to a handful of elements such as the chronology and the lore of its universe, this new Terminator project is careful to respect the old video game works published by Nacon since it will take place before the events of another title taking the form of an FPS and published by the French publisher in 2019to know Terminator : Resistance. Regarding its context, once again, the future title of Nacon will take place following the events of the Last Judgmentthe famous nuclear holocaust orchestrated by Skynet which reduced the vast majority of humanity to ashes, and some time before the act of resistance prepared by John Connor.
However, there are still a few survivors and that’s the whole point of the game! The idea of Terminator Survival Project — as its name suggests — is to offer players a survival experience in an oppressive atmosphere and in the universe of the film franchise. Small subtlety: where the French publisher generally takes care of editing productions on behalf of other studios, this time it will be an in-house development in the Milanese studio of the French company. Unfortunately, the title is not about to be released since no launch date has come to feed the last seconds of the trailer!
