The Meteorological Authority issued, in a statement today, Friday, a warning to citizens, especially patients who suffer from chest and sinus allergies, as many regions of the republic are exposed to winds laden with dust and sand, especially in the north of the country, which is witnessing dusty weather, and the exciting southwest winds are active. For sand and dust on areas of the northern coasts, Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the governorates of northern Upper Egypt, and the cities of the Canal.
The meteorologists indicated that, in conjunction with the dusty weather and the activity of the southern winds that stirred sand and dust, a decrease in the level of horizontal vision, and advised patients, especially those with sinuses and chest sensitivity, to stay at home and not go out unless necessary, and close the outlets well so as not to inhale the dust in the air.
And the meteorologists indicated, in their statement, that temperatures are expected to rise by two and even 4 degrees, as Greater Cairo records about 26 degrees Celsius, indicating that the weather on Friday is warm in the north of the country and inclined to heat in the south of Upper Egypt, and the winds are active in the north of the country to the north. Upper Egypt, and it may be exciting for sand and dust in the open areas. As for rain, the meteorologists expect that there will be chances of light rain in the evening on separate areas of the northwest coast.
