The German terror researcher Peter Neumann from King’s College in London currently sees the highest terrorist threat in Russia, Germany and Austria. Neumann said that on Monday in “ZiB2” with Armin Wolf. The terrorist group ISPK, which claimed responsibility for the attacks in Moscow, sees those countries at particular risk “in which Tajik, Central Asian diasporas exist and where the ISPK finds it relatively easy to identify and recruit people.” This includes Russia and “unfortunately also Germany and Austria”. That’s why, says Neumann, it is “these countries in which the ISPK is particularly active and which are particularly threatened by terrorist attacks.”
