Terrorism threat: Imran Khan to address rally in bulletproof container

Lahore: Ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan is holding a rally of Tehreek-e-Insaf Party at Minan-e-Pakistan ground in Pakistan amid threats of death from terrorists. Imran’s rally did not back down despite the Punjab government’s announcement that the militants were targeting political events and therefore holding the rally was dangerous.

Imran has come to address the rally. He will address the rally with a bullet proof container. He arrives in a bulletproof container for safety.

The government has warned that terrorists will use explosive devices to target political rallies or the police stationed there for security. At the same time, the Punjab government announced that the general public will not be banned from participating in the rally and that police security will be provided.
