At the end of the year, there will be one less offer for Tesla’s premium services because Spotify Premium will be canceled. If you want to continue listening to Spotify, you can choose the free version or, of course, store your own Spotify account in your Tesla.
Spotify is therefore not completely eliminated, but rather integrated in the same way as other manufacturers. Simply as an app. The only people who will be annoyed are those who pay for Tesla’s premium services and will now (from December 1st) find a reduced offer.
The advantage of this change: Customers will be able to use their personal Spotify account in the future, even if it does not have a premium subscription. Therefore, free accounts are now also supported in Tesla electric cars.
🔥🚀 Here are the preliminary release notes for Tesla’s 2024.38 software update:
✅ Spotify Free Subscription support—premium subscription no longer required (at least in Europe)
✅ Customizable side mirror tilt settings in Reverse—adjust tilt when in reverse
