Tesla launches new functions for managing the Wall Connector, via remote update.

Charging according to Tesla is not just Superchargers! The brand also offers a terminal for the home, of course for its customers, but also for all other electric vehicles equipped with a type 2 charging port. This is the Wall Connector. This is updated, at least for its third generation which can be connected to Wifi. Thanks to this connection, developments are carried out remotely.

The manufacturer explains that drivers of a Tesla or other vehicle using a Wall Connector “have not previously benefited from an experience via the mobile application. They can now use all the features of the Wall Connector app.”

Now the app includes several new features:

Scheduled charging Real-time charging status Access to charging session history Remotely modifying scheduled charging Changing charging settings

This will be especially beneficial for those who do not drive a Tesla, because drivers of a Tesla had certain functions from their vehicle. The advantage of the Wall Connector is its attractive price, €500 (without installation).

The Wall Connector provides 200-240V AC charging and power up to 22kW on a three-phase power grid. It can also be installed on a single-phase network, indoors or outdoors. It is associated with a 7.3 meter cable.
