The spirit of Simon Belmont
Indeed, Simon Belmont is not far away. He is even honored in this game of Berzek Studio which pays tribute to the series Castlevania by filling us with the scent of a bygone and yet so beloved era. Yes, Infernax is here to remind us that there are more than thirty so many games were wonderful. The studio succeeded in its bet thanks to a visual respectful and faithful to its ancestors. The music accompanies us wonderfully, all well attached to the long adventure proposed.
This metroidvania therefore offers many hours of play with an efficient upgrade system fueled by experience and money generated through combat. If the game is one significant level of difficulty the observation is nuanced by experience: the more you play, the more the character acquires skills and strength. Therefore the replayability is therefore very interesting. Too bad, all the same, that the mechanisms of yesteryear, punitivehave been kept: few checkpoints, incessant reappearance of enemies, rebirth of the character far from the point of failure and so on.
Compelling platformer
Despite its difficulty, which may prove off-putting to some, most will enjoy this very enjoyable, rich and action-packed adventure. One of the platform games of this beginning of the year.
