And most importantly, Geely was finally able to defeat this eternal misfortune of Chinese cars – setting up robotic gearboxes. Coolray starts from a place without unnecessary delays, does not twitch in traffic jams, does not “freeze” at higher levels and “follows” the gas pedal well. One of the few Chinese crossovers that is really nice to drive! No wonder Coolray was created in collaboration with Volvo engineers (the Swedish brand has long been owned by Geely), and the power unit is, in fact, the same as that of the Volvo XC40.
