Thammanat Agrees to People’s Demand to Retreat Without Waiting for Uncle Pom’s Appearance in Chiang Mai, as Panic Remains Despite Poll Results.

Captain Thammanat Phromphao, leader of the Palang Pracharat Party (PPRP), spoke about the case of people gradually returning at the Gymnasium Building 700th Anniversary Stadium in Chiang Mai Province on March 19. He accepted the condition that people retreat and don’t wait for General Prawit Wongsuwan’s speech as the leader of the PPP party during the period of storm. He pointed out that yesterday’s hail storm caused the people to panic, and he checked with the Meteorological Department that today’s storm is coming down again. This caused the villagers who were far away to gradually return, which he understands because of the broken conditions he encountered in the storm the previous day.

He confirmed that it would not affect the campaign speech during this period. He understands the condition and the people, and less is okay. But the speech stage in Chiang Rai province had about 10,000 people attending, which was quite difficult due to the hot weather in the North during this period. However, he will campaign to speak in each district, and it’s a minor adversary.

When asked about the speech in the northern area and how many goals have been set in the Chiang Mai area, Captain Thammanat expressed confidence that there are many districts that will be able to bring party candidates into the House of Representatives. He did not believe that Chiang Mai is an area that has already been owned, and is confident that there is a selling point. He will do a poll and take it into consideration to make further fixes.

Regarding the overall picture of the country and how many seats will there be, he said that at this time they have 52 MPs and are confident that everyone will be able to return to the council. As for candidates grade A, the party is doing a poll as well, and he is sure more than 50 people will be selected.

When asked about the Nida Poll indicating that General Prawit is not one of the top 10 people who want him to be prime minister, Captain Thammanat did not take it into consideration as polling institutions cannot use 1-2 thousand people to prove the results of the decision. He stated that they would move on, and all party executives agreed, as they have self-confidence.

He believes it’s too early to say anything about shaking hands with the Pheu Thai Party after the election. Although many people dined with General Prawit last week, they did not mention the establishment of a government. Finally, when asked if many people see it as a new political pole, Captain Thammanat replied that he did not. He stated that the party leader did not ask anyone to come and eat with him most of the time.
