Madrid, Jan 30 (EFE).- The president of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, congratulated Rafa Nadal after beating Russian Daniil Medvedev at the Australian Open this Sunday, and thanked him for “making us believe in the impossible” .
“Impossible not to get excited about our Rafa Nadal. What a comeback for history, what a way to make us believe in the impossible. Congratulations on this legendary victory in your 21st Grand Slam, we couldn’t be more proud of you Flag of Spain. THANK YOU, RAFA!”, he wrote on his Twitter account.
Nadal has become the first player in history to win twenty-one Grand Slam titles by beating Medvedev 2-6, 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 in five hours and twenty-five game minutes.
