Tourism Minister: Thank you, Saudi Arabia!
In a statement, the Minister of Tourism in the caretaker government, Engineer Walid Nassar, thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership, represented by its ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Walid Bukhari, for its decision “to allow Lebanese citizens to come directly from Lebanon to the Kingdom, without the need to spend a period of (14) days outside Lebanon.” before entering the Kingdom,” according to a tweet by Ambassador Bukhari.
Nassar considered that “it is not surprising for Saudi Arabia, which has always stood by Lebanon and the Lebanese, to take decisions that are in the interest of our country.”
Nassar had appealed, through his last television interview, to the leadership of the Kingdom to take a decision to allow the Lebanese to come to Lebanon without spending 14 days outside it before entering the Kingdom.
