iOS 16.2 is a version particularly loaded with new features, starting with those concerning the iPhone 14 Pro or theiPhone 14 Pro Max purchased in recent weeks.
These smartphones have an Always On mode, and Apple has adopted an original method which consists of displaying the time, notifications, but also the wallpaper, darkened when the phone is on standby. Many users quickly complained that this display was too bright for their taste and could distract them on a daily basis. Apple has listened to them and is offering new settings with iOS 16.2 to turn off the display of wallpaper and notifications. Only a black screen remains, with the time displayed at the top of the screen, as on many Android phones for several years.
Apple Music subscribers can also enjoy with this update Apple Music Sing, a karaoke feature that lowers the volume of vocals to sing along to your favorite tunes. Be careful however, only iPhone 11 and above are compatible with this feature. The FreeForm application also makes its appearance. This digital whiteboard allows you to post links, ideas, annotations, photos or videos, and share them with your teams for collaborative work.
