In Ravva and the Phantom Library, you will play as an apprentice summoner stuck in a horrifying library with your friends. It is thanks to them, but also to your powers, that you will be able to get out of this hell. The ghosts that roam this place immediately take over all the souls found there. Not wanting to end up like them, your character named Ravva will have to face many adventures to escape. The gameplay is still as varied as its predecessor, where you will have to adapt your moves depending on your enemies. The 5 attacks available in the game all have their own characteristics, and you will have to juggle with them in order to quickly find the right spell. Indeed, speed of action will be important to defeat certain enemies, who approach you quickly. As an added bonus, some enemies will come from the sky, making your task even more difficult as your weapons fire in only one possible direction. For example, using the fireballs that you throw will have the effect of bouncing on the ground from top to bottom, which limits your precision.
A library all on fire
The difficulty is also present in Ravva and the Phantom Library, with 3 configurable modes from the start of the game. If you just want to chain the Gs, it is strongly recommended to opt for the easy mode, as the game will give you a hard time to be difficult. The 7 levels will also increase in intensity as you progress, offering a particularly gripping game and offering a major challenge for lovers of complexity. The publisher Eastasiasoft Limited did not forget to add hidden levels, as well as very complex secret passages if you are looking for special objects.
Visually Ravva and the Phantom Library does not disappoint and recalls the best years of the SNES. Fluid, without any bugs, the game will give your children, but also you adults, a great time. The music and soundscape are also successful and fit perfectly with the cute-horror theme of the haunted library.
