AKumar Sanu is a singer who ruled the Bollywood music scene in the nineties and nineties. His songs were popular in Kerala too. He was absent from films for a while and returned in 2015 with the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. He has openly said some things regarding the problems that the Bollywood music industry is currently facing.
In an interview given to E Times, Kumar Sanu said that there are some elements that need to be corrected in the Bollywood music industry. He said that the current songs do not have good music or lyrics. All the singers are very talented. But he said that their potential is not fully utilized.
Our generation was lucky to have all the above. If today our music directors turn less towards western style and focus more on our Indian music culture, we will do well for ourselves. Authority should be vested in experts. Today, even actors are deciding which singer will sing playback for them. We should stay away from this kind of interference. Kumar Sanu said.
