Nearly 70 thousand inhabitants of commune 7 of Cali will benefit from the physical infrastructure adaptations of the Alfonso López Police Station. Mayor Alejandro Eder delivered the completed works this March 14.

After a year of work to improve the infrastructure of this space, today it is a reality. There are 315 square meters that were adequate to guarantee the integrity of the 103 uniformed members of the Cali Metropolitan Police.
“Our commitment to the security of Cali means recovering the dignity of the work our police do, which is why we are investing resources to recover the infrastructure,” said Aleandro Eder, mayor of Cali.
The adaptations at the Police station included: improvements to the structure and pipes, reinforcement of the foundation, change of floors and false ceiling, renovation of the hydrosanitary network, adjustment to the electrical installations and implementation of the voice and data network.

“We thank the mayor of Santiago de Cali for today’s delivery, it is a day to celebrate because the police deserve it, they deserve to have a decent space to work and especially now that we are working with the community,” said Dorisnel Satizábal, mayor of commune 7.
