Jada Pinkett Smith is now living a single life, having secretly separated from the American actor in 2016. And this has, according to her, some advantages, such as taking care of the decor alone.
“The best thing is I don’t have to ask Will: Is this sofa okay with you? she told the Daily Mail’s “You” magazine. I have one in cream patent leather, but with gold studs on it. It reflects my heavy metal side.”
The 52-year-old actress added that she has created a feminine space in her new home. “Every woman needs a woman’s den!” she exclaimed.
“They all have their own keys, even Will”
In her interview, Jada Pinkett Smith also spoke about her children’s reaction when she left home. “They knew I needed it. And what’s more, they are adults now. They know where to find me. They all have their own keys, even Will,” she explained.
Jada Pinkett Smith, 52, and Will Smith, 55, married in 1997 and have two children, Jaden, 25, and Willow, 23. The actress, who lives near her husband’s home in Calabasas, Calif., told The Times in October that she was confident they would eventually live together again.
“I think one day we will (live together again). Really, she said. Will is getting older. I’m still quite young, but it’s becoming clear to me that he’s going to need someone to take care of him.”
