THE Ancol Beach AREA in North Jakarta is one of the destinations for tourists to visit with their families on the second day of Idul Fitri 1445 Hijriah, Thursday (11/4).
Taking selfies with your back to the setting sun, making videos to share on social media, picnicking and swimming on the edge of Ancol Beach are some of the activities that visitors can do in this tourist area.
One of the visitors to Ancol Beach, Muhammad Faizal Rafli (22), as reported by Between, said that the Eid holiday was best spent with family, so he chose to travel there. The beach, said Rafli, is comfortable to visit around 15.00 when the sun is not hot until sunset.
“While waiting for the sunset, you can really play mini-games for giving away THR in unique ways, such as collecting money, blind box THR, and bringing food while having a picnic,” said Rafli, telling of the activities he did with his family to fill the holidays. Eid.
During the Eid holidays, said Rafli, relatives came to visit from Central Java so he didn’t want to just spend the time staying at home.
“So after the gathering in Cilandak (South Jakarta), we immediately gave permission from our parents to go to Ancol together because, right, it would be a shame if this gathering time was only spent at home,” said Rafli.

Like Rafli, Zalfa Angelica (23) also chose Ancol Beach as a place to chat with her family at this tourist spot rather than going out of town, for example to Anyer Beach (Banten) or Pelabuhan Ratu (West Java).
“It’s closer to Ancol Beach, right. So, it’s worth the time spent, you can go home the day (don’t stay overnight),” said Zalfa.
Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Corporate Communications Ariyadi Eko Nugroho said that the majority of tourist visits during the Eid holiday period this time were the beach area.
“Starting from Festival Beach, Indah Beach, Lagoon Beach, to Pool Beach, it starts to be busy with visitors since the morning,” said Ariyadi. (Z-6)
