The TV animation adaptation of SHINOGI’s light novel “THE NEW GATE” is confirmed to be broadcast in 2024.
“THE NEW GATE” was originally serialized on the creative platform “Become a Novelist” in 2013. The book version was launched in 2014, with cumulative sales exceeding 2.5 million copies. In the same year, the manga version was launched by Yoshiyuki Miwa (YOSHIYUKI), and was transferred to 2016. Serialized by AlphaPolis.
“THE NEW GATE” is an MMO game in which players are forced to play a death game. Players cannot log out of the game unless they defeat the guardian of the final boss. The male protagonist “Jin” is one of the strongest veteran players. After defeating the guardian, he successfully completed the game. When he originally wanted to confirm that all players had successfully logged out, a door that he had never seen before appeared behind him.
