The 62-year-old man was found in Crete. Early on Saturday morning, the Police carried out an operation in the Kaminia area of Heraklion. He was arrested at his relative’s house without resisting.
More than ten minors have given statements to the authorities. He is facing the offenses of rape, child seduction, child pornography, sexual indignity and drug laws.
The authorities, in addition to the testimonies of the victims, about what they say happened in his house, which was located under the archaeological Museum of the island, are examining video material and the digital files from his tablet that has been confiscated.
The parents of two of the minor boys describe how he allegedly approached their 15-year-old children.
He denies the accusations and allegedly maintains that he is the victim of a trap.
