Officers of the Paionia Police Department proceeded to arrest two men, one citizen and one foreigner, on charges of cultivation, trafficking and possession of narcotic substances. After coordinated actions in an apartment used by those arrested in an area of Thessaloniki, a specially designed area with 75 cannabis plants in nursery pots was located.
Equipment used for their cultivation (current timers, digital thermometers-hygrometers, humidifiers, PH measuring device, fans, etc.) were confiscated, as well as two security cameras without recording.
Also, hidden in the electric oven and in other areas of the house, seven packages of raw cannabis, with a total weight of 2 kilograms and 349 grams, and two packages of processed cannabis (chocolate) weighing 68 grams were found and confiscated.
Drugs were seized after a search and arrests were made at the foreigner’s home. Authorities located a 15-gram package of processed cannabis (chocolate), two 34-gram packages of raw cannabis, and an electronic PH meter.
Those arrested, with the case file filed against them, were taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Thessaloniki, who referred them to the investigator.
