Apple is rumored to be preparing to introduce its new microLED Apple Watch Ultra soon. The “Ultra” is about to get more premium with the new type of display. Contrary to previous rumors of the Apple Watch Ultra microLED launching in 2024, it looks like this technology won’t arrive until 2025. This information comes from display analyst Ross Young. He claims that the new information comes directly from Apple supplier Osram. In its latest Q4 2022 earnings call, Osram says it expects to begin reporting microLED technology revenue in 2025. According to Ross Young, this information relates to a future microLED Apple Watch.
