The Arab Union for Tourism Media awarded Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, the title of “Man of Arab Heritage”, during a ceremony held yesterday evening at the Holiday International Hotel in Sharjah. Dr. Sultan Al Yahyai, President of the Arab Union for Tourism Media, honored Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam with the title, following the selection of Al-Musallam during the ceremony announcing the institutions and individuals winners of the Arab Union for Tourism Media Awards 2023. The ceremony was held within the activities of the Berlin Tourism Exchange in the Republic of Germany recently, which won The city of Khorfakkan has the title of Arab Tourism Capital for the year 2023.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam appreciated the vital role of the Arab Union for Tourism Media in highlighting the civilized face of Arab tourism and enhancing its important presence. He stressed that titles are a double responsibility to achieve more translation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, patron of its first renaissance, and service to the goals and aspirations of the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE in assuming the position it deserves on the ranks of tourism and world heritage.
The Arab Union for Tourism Media includes 14 Arab countries as members and works to enhance the awareness and educational role of tourism media, Arab integration in the field of tourism with all its elements.
