The apology was announced by Bayoumi Fouad through the “Backgrounds” program, which is shown on the “Al-Arabiya” screen, and he wished his colleague not to get angry, indicating that he is an artist with principles and values, and described him as a true artist.
Bayoumi Fouad revealed that he insisted at first not to tell Mahmoud Hamida about this crisis regarding the movie “Muttrah Matruh”, and now he is fully confident that his colleague did not know the story of the film, and what happened behind the scenes of the crisis.
He said that Hamida is a great star and a great artist, everyone learns from him within the artistic community, and Bayoumi Fouad stressed that when he learned that Hamida was filming his role, he refused to talk about that crisis.
He waited until the filming was completely over, to then announce the scenes of what happened with him by producer Mohamed El Sobky, but then he regretted talking about the matter through the media.
