As we learned last week the upcoming arrival of the first story DLC of The Ascentwe discover today that the latter will be accompanied by the New Game +.
Already available on PlayStation and PC for several months, this mode was not yet available on Xbox.
However, it is specified that if you convert your original save to an NG+ save, and finish the game with it, you will no longer be able to convert it to a new NG+ save. It is therefore advisable to keep the original without NG+ and convert it to another location, as many times as you wish.
Improvements and bug fixes will follow on Xbox as well as PlayStation and PC. Neon Giant took the opportunity to also return, and in complete transparency, to the question of a possible physical version:
[…] due to technical problems we unfortunately had to cancel as we mightn’t have made it in time for the outing. No physical release is currently planned for Xbox.
The New Game+ and the “Cyber Heist” DLC will be available on August 18. In the meantime, you can still enjoy The Ascent via le Game Pass.
