The Association of Magistrates and Officials of the National Justice pointed out on the night of this Wednesday, May 10, against the president Alberto Fernandez for his statements against Supreme Court of Justice and considered that “the attack on the judiciary has become constant“.
“They do nothing more than affect the institutions of our country by their weight,” they launched from the organization, after the national president questioned the highest court for suspend the elections in Tucumán and San Juan.
Fernández pointed this Wednesday morning against two members of the Supreme Court of Justice, Horacio Rosatti and Carlos Rosenkrantz: “They accepted to be appointed by decree by Mauricio Macri and continue to respond to his orders.”
“The function of the Supreme Court is to ensure the supremacy of the Constitution, to be its final interpreter, to guard the rights and guarantees set forth in it,” the Association of Magistrates responded in a statement.

They targeted Alberto Fernández for issuing “opinions on issues that are not his own”
And he added: “The declarations of the maximum authority of the Executive Power do nothing more than affect the institutions of our country and express opinions on matters that are not their own. The attack on the judiciary for the content of its decisions has become a constant.”
In this way, he maintained that the Court resolved “on a federal matter that, according to his estimates, is proper to his function and has the responsibility of guaranteeing that the elections are carried out in accordance with the pertinent regulations to ensure that all the inhabitants of Argentina can issue your vote freely.
“It is our mission to ensure that the republican system of government is strengthened in all areas of the National State,” they concluded from the organization.
