The Barquisimeto Fair does not include music in its programme this year

The mayor of the Iribarren municipality of the state LaraLuis Jonás Reyes reported that this year’s Barquisimeto Fair will be held without the participation of musical artists.

For the municipal leader, the event will once again be a space for family gatherings. In addition, the funds allocated for the musical events will be used to cover other health-related projects, as requested by citizens.

On this occasion we wanted to announce the Barquisimeto International Fair with a more family-oriented character aimed at the youngest members of the family. Reorient some of the resources that were destined for these artistic activities precisely to address essential sectors of great sensitivity for our people, such as health, roads and other sectors that have been prioritized by the Iribarren community,” Reyes explained.

The Barquisimeto Fair will take place from September 12 to 15 at the Bicentennial Fair Complex, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
