Starting from the 12th Hungarian GP, AlphaTauri drivers will be Yuki Tsunoda & Daniel Ricciardo. In the wake of the situation, media outlets in Ricciardo’s home country are weighing in on what’s to come for Ricciardo, and the worst that could happen, even though it’s “unlikely”.
AlphaTauri announced on the 11th local time that Nick de Vries had left the team and that Ricciardo would be in the seat from the next round at the Hungaroring. The 28-year-old Dutch driver has been sidelined for 10 races this season, leaving the 34-year-old Australian to drive AlphaTauri’s AT04.
Australia’s “FOX SPORTS” wrote that Ricciardo joined AlphaTauri this time, “There is one clear purpose. It is to ride Red Bull again where I was enrolled from 2014 to 2018.”
“To prove to the leadership that I have what it takes to get back into the role as an adventurous all-action racer.”
