“XX. Mendeko Izurritea”, fight once morest AIDS and continue to live

It was in his first studio album, “Betagarri”, released in 1997, that Betagarri addressed the problem of the AIDS epidemic in song.
Indeed, in the 90s, the expansion of AIDS was demented, contaminations multiplying mainly because of unprotected sexual relations, or by blood exchange (via injections reused between several people).
Public prevention campaigns are multiplying, but Betagarri decides to pass on the message to music: you have to protect yourself, and that doesn’t prevent you from having a fulfilling sex life.

25 years following its creation, the message is still relevant.
