After two years of absence, everything indicates that festival-goers will be in large numbers for the 40th edition of the Festival of beef which is held from August 30 to September 4 in Inverness.
The event, which always takes place on Labor Day weekend, is usually very busy, but everything indicates that the site will be at maximum capacity this year. “The numbers are already there. We have a 35% increase in online sales compared to 2019. We are preparing accordingly. We have always welcomed people and we are really looking forward to it, ”said the president of the organizing committee, Pascal Jolin.
To celebrate this 40th anniversary, Thursdays will be exceptionally free with the “Between Succession and Tradition” evening, the festive and interactive “Résurgence” show, the lunch box evening and the Mackinaw folk ensemble.
On the show side, we will also find on stage Salebarbes, La Chicane, a tribute to Bob Bissonnette, a frenzied piano duel and many others.
The grand finales of the Quebec rodeo team, horse pulls and other equestrian competitions are also on the program, as is the parade of allegorical floats, children’s games and beef suppers.
