“A little while ago we learned of the passing away of our veteran great actor Theodoros Katsadramis by his beloved son Dimitris. Born in 1929 and a great member of the Art Theater, he became beloved by the dozens of films he acted in from 1955 to 2010 and from the legendary role of TAXITZ on television in 1975.. Theater worker, campaigner and family man.. He was the husband of Angelika Kapellaris and later of Kaita Papanika with whom he had Dimitris. The funeral procession will take place from Tuesday in his village.. Have a good trip, dear friend and colleague Theodore..”
Who was Thodoros Katsadramis?
Thodoros Katsadramis was a well-known Greek theater, film and television actor as well as a screenwriter.
He took part in dozens of plays and cinema projects but became more widely known and enjoyed great success from his participation as the lead character in the TV series Our Taxi Driver, which aired in the late 1970s.
He trained at the Dramatic School of the “Art Theater” of Karolos Koon and made his first appearance on the stage in 1954. He is a member of S.E.H.
He married twice. His first wife was the actress Angelika Kapellari and his second wife was the well-known actress Kaiti Papanika, with whom they had a son.
